We're going to teach you how to download a video from a Telegram channel or Telegram chats in general and save it to your computer, with the use of Telegram's desktop app.
1. Open the Telegram desktop app on your computer
Telegram's icon is a white paper aircraft on a blue backdrop. It may be found in the Programs folder on a Mac or the Start menu on Windows.
2. Click a chat on the left panel
On your chats list, find the chat with the video you want to save and click it. This will start a dialogue on the right side.
3. Right-click the video you want to save
Right-click on the video file in the chat dialogue to view your choices. That will bring up a drop-down menu.
4. Click "Save File As" on the menu
This option allows you to download and save the video file to your computer. After you click it, a new pop-up window will appear, allowing you to pick a location for your movie to be saved.
5. Select a folder on your computer
When your download is complete, you will locate your stored video here.
6. Click Save in the pop-up
This will download the video clip and store it in the selected location of your choice on your computer.
